Seeing couples interact with each other and the smile on their faces make me want to have a relationship with a nice lady… But hell naw, there are so many reasons why I don’t want one. Yes it is fun spending time with a significant other and experiencing things together but why not later? I am 19 fairly young, working, going to school. What do I look like getting a girlfriend? I would have no time for her. And I hate how cell phones have destroyed relationships and the true beauty of a RELATIONSHIP. It is meant for two physical people to come together and enjoy their company, not “hey what’s up babe?” That shit is fuckin wack. You could probably say my last relationship left me like this but I am glad it did. Because I know how to stand on my own two feet without feeling the need of someone’s text or voice to make me feel good. No thank God I can lay in my bed and be content with myself day in and day out feeling completely blessed with everything that I have. Being single is great I enjoy the little things in life that Is usually taken for granted and see it as a positive which brings me joy everyday. I love being content even if I have nothing to be content about. Not to say I never want a lady but what’s the rush? She will come to me when I need her in my life. Maybe you are saying “nigga you can’t get a girl.” I can confidently say I can but one that I can honestly see myself going the distance? No those are caught with master balls not regular poke balls. I am trying to catch the best (girl) Pokemon there is. But It takes patience. Nothing good comes easy and nothing easy is good. Love yourself first before you love someone else. Because how can you love someone when you don’t even know how to love yourself first? Love comes from within yourself first in order for others to see.
